First of all, that front plate is hilarious.

On my upgrade list is a 3 gauge cluster for oil temp, voltage and tach. But next on the list is LED headlights. Which ones did you get? My Sambar is a 92 :)

Do you have round headlights or "square" headlights? There was a transition in 1992, so you could have either.

I have round like the OP, that's why I asked him. I've also heard some headlights don't require messing with the grounds.

I bought a set of of "Amazon special" lights. They are called noober or something nuts. Any 7" round light will work. I spent a long time wiring up relays to make the lights work with the shared ground wiring setup. In the end I broke down and bought a commercial set of relays on eBay. I have a lot of experience wiring electronics and was unable to make my own work. I would highly recommending dropping $50 on a pair of conversion relays.

The previous owner had already installed a set of turbo-jank LED headlights that had their own weird looking hid style ballast. Was unable to reuse the electronics. Also the light output was horrible.. & the only thing that was nice about them was the color temperature. They pissed me off and I just threw them in the garbage so I can't even donate them to anybody.

I want to install some nilight brand spot lights on the truck eventually. I have a pair on my Forester and they are rediculous.

I added some photos of my hellacious'ly disgusting coolant. Not one drop of oil if you can believe it. 100% muddy rust water. No exauhst gas detected. I'm seriously under the impression that it is the factory coolant. I have seen 15+ year old dexcool but I have personaly never seen any this murky. I do not believe a stop leak additive was used ether as there has been no debris or crud settling out of the filth.
