    Stock tires: P145/80R12 correct?

    Interested in running
P155/80R12 which are available to buy new.... example. https://simpletire.com/tire-sizes/155-80r12

    So...

    1. Will these tires fit on stock rims?
    2. Does the width difference between these two tire option require any modification to the truck body? Will it impact turning radius?

I need a straight answer on if they will fit on existing rims.

I put 155/80R12 8 ply rating on my 2002 D62V using the stock wheels a few years ago and am pleased all around with them. One glitch - the spare will not fit in the space allowed under my van, truck may or may not, I don't know.

Yes they will fit... the 10mm in tread width is only that much wider. That is just a little more than 3/8".. It might sit 1/2" higher in total.

However I would upgrade to a 14" if you are really planning on heading down the road. 155/65R14 is the same diamater and Nokian makes quality tires in that size.. Everything 12" is cheap, out of round and rides like garbage. The balance issues will be amplified by the 22" diamater
