Have been looking at the same stuff. What are you going to do to prevent sag and rain pooling in center and what about right behind the cab? No bed edge for snaps.
Years ago I had a bed cover that had aluminum arch supports. Was looking at maybe some aluminum square tube from Lowes to span the bed.

Yes, they are hollow. Those gray plugs in the ends will pull out. Did you have to call them to get grommets deleted?

Finally got my tool box mounted. Wanted something small under the bed to hold a few tools, ratchet straps , and bungees.
My 1955 Ford Tractor has a small tool box mounted on the back fender but
it's too small. Found this larger universal tractor tools box on Amazon that came with
brackets that can be configured several ways. Box is held in place with thumb screws and can be removed.

It's at the right front of the cab, it's just tucked in so I don't rip it off going into garages. It didn't have a radio in that picture anyway.

As is family tradition, I made a custom bedliner out of plywood.

• Bed cover

Adding a piece of 1" aluminum square tube across the back of the cab, flush with the top of the bed, for snaps for front of cover. Also using a piece as a support bow across the middle of the bed. Got some brackets figured out for that.
Ordered the tarp wide enough that it will roll over the edge of the bed and the snaps will go on the side instead of the top. The middle support will be used to roll up the cover.
