I am new and have tried twice to post about an issue with injectors on a 2009 with a k6a engine. I can't see the post, can anyone else? It should be simple but it seems I must be doing something wrong. Thanks.
Thanks Ronin, It's odd that that link shows it in the suzuki carry heading, yet I can't see it and neither can my sister, the trucks owner. I'll be patient and maybe someone with know what brand injectors are on the 2009 k6a engine. Knowing that will make it easier to find a wiring cap. Someone may even know where to find a cap. Dang rats ate ours.
I answered, recommend to see if you can find something close in a junkyard as I don't see anything separate. Would have to splice into your harness to repair. I don't really see anything to identify injectors. Fred
Of course I can find you a new one or set of three... not gonna be real cheap though by the time postage etc. No way to repair what the critters ate?
Thanks for all your time Fred, 1 boneyard in 40 mi. radius, doubt they have parts for this engine, I also have found nothing in literature. Also read thru many old posts. I was hoping someone has had to replace or upgrade and would know. Once I figure out how to remove the cap, I can take it around or look online. If I only knew how to move this thread to the Suz Carry tab.
Ronin, once I figure out how to remove the cap, I thought of a way to rebuild. Rat ate down to the plastic cap, no wire showing. Like fred said if I can't find a new cap, hunt used. I thought of somehow drilling out the pin inside, replacing it after adding two wires and filling with epoxy . Solder in, cover with heat shrink.
