Just recently obtained a project acty from a family member and for some reason it just isn’t running as how it was before. Began to lose RPM while driving. Literally when I get to third gear, the acty won’t past 3500 rpm and the rpm drops slowly (loss of power) even when you press on the gas pedal all the way down. The power loss was massive and it won’t let me drive the acty past 40kilometers per hour. It will lose the power.
I have replaced and checked the following: Fuel filter, Spark plugs, Distributor cap, Distributor rotor, Spark wires.
Recently a buddy of mine recommended that I change out the ignition control module/ igniter module. Already have the part on hand and will check on it. Just wanted to see your input, what could be wrong? :( Just want this classic to be road safe again…

Are you sure fuel pressure and flow are to spec as you increase the load? Also when it does this stop and look under the van and check to make sure nothing is amiss, like a glowing exhaust or some other obvious thing.

That sure sounds like lack of fuel flow.
