Has anyone swapped out their cluster with a factory one with tach? I can find the pinout for the one with the 6/12 pin plugs, but not the 6/16 pin plugs. Does anyone have this by chance?
I also have 95 acty coming in, found a cluster with tach that has the 6/16 plugs have you found any thing out yet Thank you Brian
If you watched the video, you'll see he made a custom harness to mate his original wiring to that needed for the van cluster. Not trial, but doable.
Oh. I've watched the video, multiple times. Ron is a friend of mine, we've talked before. Like I said, that video will not work for the 6 and 16 pin model. The pinout is completely different on the back. I swapped a 6 and 16 pin cluster into my truck. The only thing that video will help with is what the original wire circuits are and a demonstration on how to test circuits.
pass1over would you be willing to share the pin out of which wires go where with some kind write up or pictures I have a 6/16 cluster have the pigtails ? but other than that am clueless Regards Brian
