So what are these modules? Are they replaceable? Can they be found? Are they adjustable? At the plugs I have weak, orange spark that wanders around the gap. Won't start, floods out. Different coil, same result.

They are Hall Effect Sensors, If you look on the shaft, there are four nibs which stick out. As they pass the sensor, it signals the engine controller, which then triggers the coil. they very rarely go bad. I’d look at the coil, cap and wires first

Different coil, same result. New Cap, rotor, plugs. Wires not replaced. It quit suddenly while otherwise running fine, wouldn't plug wires cause slowly degrading performance, not sudden?

Hall effect coils aren’t generally used to trigger the coil directly. Is there some kind of control box hooked onto the circuit.

It looks like there is some junk on the end of the rotor. Might clean that off. I'm not sure on Sambars, but check the center button on the cap and make sure it is out all the way. I would agree it would be pretty unlikely for all 4 wires to degrade at the same time, but the coil wire could be going bad.

Do you mean "there is?" If you mean "is there?" I don't know.

I'll clean the rotor and check the cap. If you mean the wire from coil to cap, I subbed in another wire with no change.
