Just got my 83 Sambar Try delivered and really dig it. It’s got some issues that weren’t totally disclosed when I bough it which sucks but I’m hoping a Subaru specialist can check it out. It’s currently in Las Vegas but will eventually be in Los Angeles when it’s repaired. Any suggestions for where I can find kr2/ek23 parts online? Or anyone on here have parts for sale? One thing I’m really hoping to find an original and complete a/c unit with internal cabin control knob.
Good luck! 4th gen parts are very hard to come by now, without buying a whole donor vehicle.. even then they are not common to find.
I’ve found a bunch of sites that sell the basics, and to get a whole replacement engine is around $800+ so I think there will be options around.
