Need rocker arm info..

Discussion in 'Suzuki Carry' started by Parker H Thompson, Apr 30, 2021.

  1. Ok so I need a part number or info in regards to the exhaust rocker arms on my dd51t f6a. As I was setting the valves, I noticed a ton of side to side play on the exhaust rockers. Tried to adjust it out to spec since the valves were set tight from previous owner.

Still hearing a ton of clattering from the rocker arms.

I know it's not rod bearings or main bearings. I just did those last week.

Please help with any info as to what rocker arms will fit.

    Thanks in advance fellas!

Try megazip.net get the part number then you can try the web. Hard to find new rockers though.

  3. I've looked to see if I can Cross reference the part number. Haven't found anything yet.

Another thought, could the valve guide being worn out cause the side to side play?

Worn valve guides should not cause side to side play in the rocker arms. If the rocker shaft bores are worn on the rockers they can probably be rebuilt, if you can find a real machine shop, which will work on automotive stuff.. Typically there is a bit of lateral play in the rockers. Some of the engines I have worked on down through the years had springs and spacer washers on the rocker shaft to keep the rockers in specific places.
