Good job!!! I like the hinged ammo box mount idea. Can you take pictures of how you mounted it to the truck. I also like the way you mounted your bumper, when I did mine I was scared to cut the truck too much so I ran a plate between the frame and the rad. If I ever build another one I might use your idea.

Did you go inside the frame rails? I've been looking at doing the same thing for mounts on mine, but debating on going inside or outside the frame.
    1.5x3 tube fit?

That's real engineering, and Quality Work Man ship!!!

It Doesn't matter if you go inside the Frame Rail, or outside the Frame Rail, Both ways will work.
Because were talking about Mini trucks, not Heavy Equipment!

Keep in mind, some of these small units, air flow travels through the Frame Rails like mine does, so you might have to, alter your air flow!

With that in mind, He chose to go inside the Frame Rail, as the Pics indicate, and keeping in mind, it's less preparation work,
and Easier in the Long Run, IMO!

Pretty Strong, with a snug fit, going inside verses the outside!

Yeah, I figured either way would work. I was just trying to decide for myself because I can weld on the outside.
I'm planning on mounting a jeep bumper and I can cut three sides off of 2x4 tubing to weld to the frame. Dont have to cut as much body out to get there either on the outside.
Guess my big question was, what size tubing fits inside the frame well?

I don't know about the airflow. I'm working with pretty much the same truck pictured here.
I know I'm supposed to fill in my sig line with what I have before my first post, just haven't sat down and done it yet. I can read, I'm just a bad person. It'll get done tonight.

If you look on your intake air filter check and see if it's connected to your frame rail, for air intake, if it's like mine,!!!
I'm really not familiar with your model!

Use a tape measure and figure out what size square tubing you need!!!
