Jimny F6A EFI would work with a few modifications on a Carry/Scrum F6A. They are port fuel injected/ turbocharged. Finding one without importing the whole vehicle may be challenging though.. If you don't need a bed, importing a Jimny would be a good option as they are still Kei sized but all have A/C, good heat and easy to get tires in DOT legal AT's ( 205/70R16 )
I had looked into the Arctic Cat EFI set up and have not given up but the Blocks are differnet. Fred is there a GOOD side draft carb? Do they make a different choke set up, perhaps an electric choke? I have had Carb issues ever since I got it (choke on always) I have tried several carbs and though the Snowmobile carb screemed it wouldn't even idle and had to be feathered to get there. Just made adapter plate to put the new F10 carb on and no top end!
Don't know if it is still available or not, but many years ago I had a book which covered all the different carbs that Weber designed and manufactured. I always had good experience using Webers on several different applications as they were designed to be setup & adjusted for a lot of different uses as downdraft, sidedraft, & updraft, although I never tried utilizing them on an engine size as we are dealing with. They use Manual, water, & elecrical choke setups, although they prefer to utilize an 'enrichment circuit' rather than a choke plate. Another thought. You might do some checking on Mercury & Evinrude outboard engine carbs, maybe 60 HP & up. They were sidedraft and every one that I had over the years(60s&70s) was very reliable. Search for 50s, 60s, & 70s as I don't know when they went EFI. Then again, outboard engine EFI/technology may be your answer. Just FYI & a bit out of the box thinking. Fred

My dealings with Weber were the Down draft Progressive 2 barrel, on Nissan 4 cyl. Why can't I find a Weber single side draft?
They were getting rare 40 years ago, when I first started tinkering with cars beyond tuneups. I’d try eBay, and set the location for world wide. They were stock on a lot of the smaller European vehicle in up through the sixties. things like the Original 600-cc Austin Mini, the Little Fiats, etc. You could also look into the Stromberg and Zenith 125 Constant Vacuum Carbs from the same era. They were on Austin BugEyed Sprite and the MG Midget. The Stromberg and Zenith 150 carb sight also work, they were fitted in pairs on all sorts of European car in the 1200 to 1600-cc range.
The 1953 MG TD that I owned many years ago had twin SU single barrelsidedraft carbs on it. Was a 1200 cc engine, so one would be in the range of capacity we are dealing with. Fred
Look for SU, or Stromberg, and if you are using eBay, go into filters and set the location to world wide. The default is the US and Canada. The Zenith carbs you will find will be updraft units made for tractors. SU (Skinners Union), and Stromberg (Stromberg-Zentih) made side draft, constant vacuum carbs for mostly European manufacturers, with bores from 1.25 to 2-inches. The 1.25s were frequently used in tandem on small displacement engines, of 1000 to 1250-cc. So a single should work well on a 660-cc engine, and not have the hassles of trying to synchronize two carbs. Weber did make some single barrel side drafts for small European motors. But most Weber side drafts you will find on eBay will be the dual choke or two barrel versions, (DCOE). If you had a good book on Weber carbs so you knew what initials to use you might be able to find the smaller single barrel side draft.
The Weber carbs were traditionally made in Italy. Not sure if they still are. Last time I was dealing with Webers, Redline was the US distributor. redline@redlineweber.com
