When driving my truck will start to die. If I pull over and stop it will start to Idle and I can drive it again. I replaced the spark plugs, fuel filter and pump, cleaned the carburetor with no change. Any ideas?

Generally that is indicative of short fuel supply. Have you checked the fuel pickup in the tank? Lesser possibility might be that your coil is getting close to giving up.

I emptied the gas tank and checked the system, everything seems fine. I replaced the coil with a new one still no change. It still dies under load. I put in park and it starts up right away.

What does the fuel look like? What's the condition of the tank? Did you replace the fuel filter?

Tank is clean and shiny. Fuel is also fresh. I replaced the filter and pump.

    Shad,
Original, carb.? When you say it dies under load, when you try to give it more gas, it dies!

does it die when you give full throttle only? Or in all pedal positions? Any kind of smoke then coming from the exhaust? If it is black smoke, then you have unburnt fuel and even the spark plugs could be wet.
My newer model has the carb with the 2 solenoids which were defective, and then when I pushed the gas pedal to full throttle, it got too much fuel, exhaust had black smoke of unburnt oil and the engine would die if I did not go from the gas pedal.

When going up a slight grade. I will be in ⭐️ Position with the peddle down it will start to lose power. I down shift too low and it continues to lose power. Then i will stop the truck, try to give it some pedal and it will just die. I can then instantly put it in park and it will start it up right away. It is an old carb, with only 1 solenoid. I took it off and checked it. It has a needle like thing sticking out. When under power it pushes out makes a click. I have not noticed any smoke. Will check if it is smoking today.

Sure sounds to me that the carb. is acting up, like your not getting the correct, adjusted amount of fuel! Maybe rebuild the carb., or replace it! A lot of good info, on the forum, about carb's., on this subject! Sounds like the fuel solenoid, that's clicking is working properly!
