I've searched extensively and I've come to the determination that there are 82 different tire sizes that will fit stock 12 oil filters and 16 different air filters. Lol

I've been shopping for wheels and tires all day online. Actually this site has proved to be the most helpful.

I picked me up at 1991 Subaru sambar carbureted 78000 km. It has some old Honda rims sporting 185 65 14. That's a 23.47in diameter. Too many hills around here. Mine is licensed to drive on the road.

Blah blah blah anyway I ran across these rims and tires, and the price seems right. Check out the link and let me know what you think.

Looks like these rims can also handle some of them there Carlisle tractor tires.

The bolt pattern isn't correct. Sambar is 4x100. Those are 4x101.6. I have never even seen that pattern before.

Also the width is going to be a problem. Those are 215's, stock is 140. That's 3" wider. The front's will hit when turning assuming the backspacing is correct to still clear the frame/suspension.

I would stick with the 14" rim. Anything smaller is pretty much impossible to find decent road tires for. 165/65-14's there are few options in that size and it's only a 1/2" larger than stock in diameter.

They are a 6 inch wide rim with an offset of 2in+ 4in . 6 inches is 152.4 mm. So the center would be 76.2 mm. 2 inches is 50.8 mm. So that should be a -25 mm offset?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the offset on a stock wheel +45 mm?

Does that stick out too far? hard on the bearings?

I read on a trailer tire site 145r12 is 21.3 in tall. Which would make stock tires 145 80 r 12?

Well I went ahead with the stock wheels and some Yokohama diggers. I'll decide if they deserve the adjectives super.
Ordered it from twin Rivers I searched their name on this form and I seem to get good reviews.

my research shows that many people seem to think 4 by 4 will also fit on 4 by 100. if anybody has a golf cart with a 4 by 4 bolt pattern I would like to try it out I would be interested to know.
