The keys that I have confirmed work for my '93 Carry are: Axxess #52 Ilco X186 SILCA SZ11R I saw someone selling these blanks for $15 each! This is a community so if you need a key blank, please DM me and I will get it to you for my cost + shipping, or you can go to a hardware store that cuts keys and tell them you need a key cut that cross references the above blanks for about $4.
Had to have a spare made for mine when I bought it. Blank is a JV brand , number JM366. Don't know if this brand is available in the states. Cost was P100 which is about $2 here in the Philippines. Originally sold in Japan as a 2002 Mazda Scrum, (manufactured by Suzuki),now registered as a 2014(year I bought it)Suzuki CarryVan in the Philippines. Fred
Key blank for a Suzuki Samurai is what you need. I had bought a bag of blanks before I learned my local hardware store actually stocked them. I had more trouble getting keys for my 1974 MGB than JDM Suzuki's
More good information! The manager at one ACE Hardware said, "I can't help you." I went to another ACE a few towns over and the 16-year old behind the counter had two keys cut for me in about 10 min.
Jamison, HAHAHA! I'm like you, never give up! "Mini Truck Owners" MANTRA! If we don't like the answer we go get another one! I'd rather be lucky than good!!! Limestone
I didn't want to risk losing my one and only original key so I cut my first blank with a Dremel and micro files. It worked but it took me 2 hours. I should add that I totally botched a key blank before I got it right.
