Morning all, and greeting from Peterborough county. This little girl followed me home last week, and my sweetie is going to let me keep her. I had to promise to take her out, keep her clean, feed and water her, and not spend too much money on her. Hopefully front and rear bumpers, new front springs, tires, and a lift kit are within the budget. We shall see.

New enthusiast here! I live near Sarnia ont. And am interested in how you went about getting your truck. May try to get a truck someday.

I used Four Sons Off-Road to import my truck. I talked with Jeremy and determined what model and feature I wanted. He sent me pictures a few month later and I was happy with what I saw. He handled all paperwork all I had to do is pick up the truck at the train yard. Pretty happy with the outcome.

Thanks for the quick reply! Never thought rail. What is rough cost of that? Insurance is always a question too. Who did you use and roughly how much?

It all depend on what you want. I got a very clean rust free low mileage Suzuki carry 2003 Da63-T with diff-lock and AC for 9500$. Shipped to the nearest train yard. Insurance was a bit more tricky to get. Even if you plan to use it off-road they all run away when you mention: Right hand drive..... Usually they will insure it if you also have at least another vehicule with them or your residence.

I agree with SAITCHO, It all depends on what you want! Do you want a right hand driver? I'm happy with my left hand driver! What do you want to do with it? Every day driver? Or as needed, on road? off road? Do you want a hobby? Are you handy, and are looking for a project/hobby? Lots of good info through out the mini forum, past and present. I'm sure it will help you decide!
