I dont actualy know! First I have to get it inspected to get it road worthy. Have any suggestions, I want to use it as a city vehicle as well as little offroad since I got the diff lock and all.

I did some basic off-road with the stock tires, got stuck a few times in mud but that is another story, and so far I dont see the need to upgrade the coil springs. I did not load the truck to capacity yet but before upgrading I want to know the truck better. Keep in mind if you upgrade the coil springs you will loose ride quality and articulation so there are trade-off to this upgrade.

I think I will get 250lb shocks since I am a bigger guy I think it will be usefull. Just need to figure out the rear 3rd break light and daytime running lights. Tires I think I will get GBC Grim Reaper Radials for offroad and some normal tires for road.

I’d recommend a variable rate spring. On my Hijet, I figured out that the springs are the same interior diameter, and length as thos ousted for coil over shock absorbers. This let me order a set of 150-450-lb/inch springs from Summit Racing, an online performance parts supplier.

This leaves me with suspension travel when I add my snow plow in the winter.

Did you ever get yours inspected? Any problem with the headlights?
