jsut checking to see if this is the normal on these engines.

its only got 50Kilo's on it..

seems to have a lot of blow by. doesnt seem to be all the time, but when the high idle kicks in for the fans & so on, the blow by coming out of that "puke tube" looks like a 2nd exhaust on it.

the previous owner had taken that puke tube & put a rubber hose on it & ran it all the way to the back wheels as an exit.

worked the crap out of the little truck yesterday & it performed excellent. moved a very large squirrel pen with it (4'x8'x8') & turned that into a caged vegetable garden.

then hauled brush with it to the burn pile. cool thing i learned real quick: load it by hand, get it full drive to the brush pile, drop the bed sides & then take the bucket on the tractor & shove it off!

    hee hee. lazy mans unloading!!

hmmmm nobody got any info on this?

well here is some more background:

ok i call it a puke tube... looks like it SHOULD have been going over to the back side of the air cleaner from some diagrams i found on the site.

it doesnt. so i ran a new hose.

INSTANTLY: the mini wont start !! no matter what you do with that tube hooked up there it wont start!

just unhook it from the air cleaner & bingo! fires right up. not sure what thats all about?

    input?

ok & to go with that? with that hose routed out to the back of the mini.... its got a LOT of blow by style smoke coming out of that tube....

not the first hint of smoke out the exhaust!

    are these motors like this?

or do i have something that is not set up right?

No sure of what engine you have. My 2002 has a K6A engine and has very bad oil smoke occasionally at startup. Most times not, just now & then. I am thinking on the thought that possible an oil drainback from the head may be partially blocked or something. I remember some years ago, the chevy Metro had somewhat of that kind of problem and it had to do with the headgasket.

My Mits motor smokes like a tire fire and burns a ton of oil. I did valve seals and it made NO difference. It's got to just have no rings left. It gets minimal use around the property even though it's plated, it's too embarrassing to drive much until it gets a motor swapped.

motor is an F6A with 3x2 carb.

thats what i dont get... pulled the vlalve cover, motor is spic & span clean.. oil is still good & clean.... only 50,ooo kilo's on it & absolutely ZERO exhaust smoke.

was wondering if maybe it was 180* out on the timing? it doesnt seem to have a lot of power, but everyone here says these motors have no low end power anyway.

but did haul about 1200lbs of concrete in the back Monday & it had no problem taking off with it.

i dunno... just trying to get it "perfect". LOL
