Congrats on getting it tagged! I'm just beginning my journey. Where did you buy yours? I'm watching the auction site japandirect and I'm watching tradecarview. I'd like to hear what the process was for you from buying to tagging
Thanks...What are you looking for ?? I have 2 hitting Freeport in 7 days, & 1 here .. This page can be a big help to your question..https://www.facebook.com/groups/149...=1551108156971259¬if_t=group_comment_reply
Hello Kevin, Thanks for getting back to me. Where are you located? I am in Flower Mound. This is what i was looking for: 1994 4WD Diff lock Axle lock AC No Accidents less than 60,000 km Shipping to Freeport or Houston area I'm watching a couple Carry's at Japancardirect and tradecarview. Have you used either, or where do you buy them? Thanks Patrick
Keep in mind, these trucks except some Acty's have 5 digit odometers and most have rolled over. You can get lucky and get one that hasn't but you have to look close at the odometer to verify. Any numbers higher than another and it's a clear sign it's rolled. If they are pretty much level than it might not have.. Auction is a good place to get a truck, Tradecarview not so much itself but they do have some legit good exporters. Be Forward and Royal Trading are top notch export dealers. Just use their own sites
Which 2 are you bringing in next week and how many will that give you total? Are you going to sell any of them or are you building a fleet? Do you drive any on the road or are all of these off road only for you. I have a small piece of property in Knox County 18 miles South of the town of Crowell. I'm buying the mini to accompany my Polaris Ranger on the ranch and maybe drive into Crowell to pickup sweet feed, corn and a cheese burger on Saturdays. So getting mine street legal would be great or Farm Truck Registration might be another option for me. What are you doing with yours? Should I stick with the 1994 or do you think I can go newer to get an EFI model and still be eligible for Farm Truck Registration?
You can go newer, but it must be 25 years old to the day that you import it. The DMV will do the math to the day.
