Have a 2010 Daihatsu Hijet pickup. I've searched and searched for above items. Need Front bearings, Strut mount for right hand driver's side, and inner CV boot for Driver's side. Also when I'm moving I hear a clunking noise and can feel it at my feet on the driver's side. Seems like the faster I go the quicker it clunks. Also seems like when there are 2 people in the cab it does it less. The strut does not appear to have lose any oil and fells fine when you pull the shaft in and out. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Well I found the CV boots and bearings on Ebay. Still cannot locate a part number for the strut mount. I can't be the only person who ever needed a strut mount.
CV Boot is like 12 usd for non OEM and https://partsfan.com/daihatsu/jp/80...0f1cdbe4e125/2/4803/482701C/4814387501/#parts for an idea for the strut mounts. best to put your serial number into the first link. You may only need the plastic spacer/bearing in the mount.
Here is the part I need and it is discontinued. https://partsfan.com/daihatsu/jp/dd.../2/4803/480310/4803077/vinS210P-0069412#parts I appreciate your help. Been at this for days. I found the bearings and CV boots on Ebay and ordered them. I love this little truck and want it perfect if possible. The rubber bushing in the strut mount has about 1/4" slack in it. It is worn out. Can't find it anywhere.
impex prices are pretty competitive. but its a bit of a process to order. 1- open acount 2 - order parts 3 - pay for parts 4 - check back for shipping invoice (they dont notify) 5 - pay shipping (seems like actual shipping cost not a marked up price) 6 - you should have your parts in 5-10 days.
https://partsfan.com/daihatsu/ it is best to put your trucks serial number in as there are slight changes in the parts over the years even for the same model number. you really need to look up parts for your serial number truck.
the plastic spacer between the strut mount upper parts is 3 us dollars https://en.impex-jp.com/parts/new/search.html?partNo=4814387501
I do not need a 3 dollar part. It is the strut mount which is 38.89. The rubber in the mount is shot and rattles. The plastic spacers are fine. Is the serial number the one that is stamped in the metal under the driver's seat? Starts with S210P-XXXXXXXX.
yup thats one the spots you will find the serial number. not sure if the 210 mount is similar to the 110 but the seal around the plastic spacer will hold it together even if its cracked. untill it falls apart in your hands lol i been there
Thanks for all the help. My truck seems solid and really enjoy driving it. My CV boots ripped and going to clean and relube them. With that and the new bearing should be in good shape for awhile.
