Picked this up from a friend the other day. He hadn’t done much with it since he didn’t fit in it comfortably. Wiring has been butchered and then stopped running and now won’t even turn over. Can someone convince me it isn’t a lost cause already?

Definitely not a lost cause all you'll need is one ride to get you hooked. Keep at it

Well at the moment it isn’t running and I can’t seem to get the correct cam position sensor for it. I have contacted two companies, one in Oklahoma and one in CAlifornia. Neither one has responded. I bought a manual for the truck but it doesn’t have any schematics in it. So as of right now I’m thinking this wasn’t a great purchase.

    You got a part #?

No I don’t. All I have is the data plate off of the truck which I used to fill out the form for the guy in Ok so he could research and obtain the correct part. I did order a part initially but it ended up being the correct part for the incorrect truck. ;). The truck is a S110P-136616 with an EF-GS engine.

That is for the next model truck. The locator pin and connector are incorrect. I’ve got about $5500 in it with a new battery and some vac line and a fresh oil change and a manual that is almost useless without electrical diagrams.

Been trying to find the temp sensor but haven’t been too tore up over it since the truck doesn’t run right now.

Well I was able to order a cam sensor straight out of Japan. Hopefully it is correct.
