First time poster!! Glad I found this sight!
I have a line on a Suzuki Carry and or a Honda ACTY that both have engines that are toast. ALso, I purchased an older Jacobsen golf course mower last summer with a 28hp diesel engine that runs fantastic. The mower is shot, but the motor would be great for a mini that I will use in the woods like a UTV side by side.
Has anyone tried swapping the gas motor with a diesel motor in a mini truck? I know there are units that come with diesel engines, maybe I would be better off finding one of them that are toast.? What are your thoughts?

Jacobsen does use the Suzuki K6a Engine, which I have in my 2002 Suzuki CarryVan in some of their offerings. I would guess that their Diesel option on some of their machinery might be Yanmar or other small diesel engine. With these two thoughts in mind, I would think the main thing would be that a converter plate of some sort may have to be fabricated unless you might get very lucky and find the parts bolt up. Wiring for the Diesel should be extremely simple. Would be a very interesting thing to try.
