    Hi Guys
Any idea how to set the high speed jet on the s83p. Carb was off and somebody played with the jet and I have no idea what the setting are.
    Thanks in advance.

Just wondering why you feel it needs adjustment

Like I said someone screwed it all the way out. Usually it's like tighten and then loosen 2 1/2 turns or something. Just wanted yo know the factory settings so I can put it tight

OK that sounds like your idle mixture adjustment, not the high speed jet. Just adjust it in or out to get the best smooth idle

If you have a tachometer, you start at about 2-1/2 turns out, and then set the idle to 750-rpm. Turn the mixture screw in a quarter turn, and see if the idle speed increases, if it does, reset it to the 750, and turn the idle mixture in another quarter turn. Repeat until the idle speed drops, when you adjust the mixture screw in, and then turn the mixture screw back out an eighth of a turn.

You have just set the best lean idle. The idea is to start a little rich, and then lean out the mixture to give the leanest mixture you can run.
