Hello to all, I have been lurking around this site for a few months and appreciate all the information found here. I recently acquired a 1988 Acty and this week dragged home a 1960's Daihatsu with attitude and issues. Previous owners banded the rear wheels to fit some monster truck ATV tires. Hardly fit on my trailer. Anyway that one is missing it's piston:(. Looking for parts sources and advice from those who have been there and done that on the Daihatsu. Tri1.jpg Tri3.jpg

Thanks again for all the resources and knowledge here.

    Hello,
Now, that is one cool looking "mini" truck. I like the older styling of the body.
If you can't find the engine parts for it, you could go electric with it.
I'd like too see that one dolled up a bit. The wide tires kinda give it some attitude.... I'd keep them... But, that's just me..
Good luck finding parts, at least the windshield is there. I would think, very hard to find and mucho bucks to replace.... don't break it...

Thanks for that, it does look beefyvwith those tires! Unfortunately the windshield has a hole in it but with all the mechanical work to do it will be awhile before that is an issue
