Possible sources of vibration?

I'm going to check everything I can think of on my next days off but I'm looking for ideas on what else to check and most likely causes. My new DD51T has a fairly bad hum/vibration that starts at about 85kph. It sounds and feels just like what you'd expect a bad rear driveshaft u-joint or excessive pinion angle to feel like. Everything else is fine, it rides nice, no steering issues, no real feedback through the wheel, the hum is mostly audible with some vibration throughout the chassis.

My initial thought is I know from my auction sheet that one of the front axle shaft boots is torn. I immediately suspect the joint of being bad but could that cause these symptoms? I've only had front CV joints go bad on front wheel drive cars and they never hummed like that, only clicked around corners. If it's not that I would suspect the driveshaft joints or wheel bearings. Any other ideas on stuff I should check?
