Would you mind sharing what sort of interest you get, and what it sells for? I'm debating whether to keep mine stock and sell it possibly after rebuilding the engine or continue my modification plan. It's a bit small in the cargo area for my intended use. I want to use it for a pit truck but it seems we always end up filling the bed of a fullsize truck with fuel and tools and tires and spares so it may just not be quite up to the task...

I got an offer to trade for a '87 MB 300E ( worth about $5,500-6k top end realistically ) Not only a bad trade, but that generation MB isn't something I'm interested in anyway. My interest is only the W123 Diesels and then I would have to be in the mood to have one again, to actually consider another..

It either sells for $7k or I keep driving it. I might take $6,500 but that's exactly what I have in it

I'm pretty sure that if I park it out front at work with a sign in the window, it will sell eventually. I just bought a 1950 Plymouth which I plan to drive on nice days and take away from having to drive the truck. But yeah, I don't really 'need' to sell it, I just will for the right price

I'll update this. After getting lesser offer after lesser offer, I just got tired and pulled the ads down.. It seems that people see freshly imported trucks for $3-4k and think I'm wacko for asking what I am. In reality, those $3-4k trucks are often newer than 25 years ( and not Fed legal ) or they are 4spd 550cc trucks, and paperwork surely to be questioned and hassled by the DMV.. I've seen other road legal/ titled Kei trucks advertised at $7k, but I'm not sure you can sell one for that. People just seem to see the lower prices and think your nuts, regardless the fact they will spend about the same.

I'm in the market, live in western ma. What have you done to improve it for the 7K ask. Send me some pics...I'm a serious buyer and not scared of the price if it's worth it.
