Anyone have any experience with a malfunctioning 4wd controller? Mine is cycling on and off rapidly trying to engage the front diff. The axle lock light flickers also. When I found it the screw wasn't tight that held it in place so I tightened it thinking maybe it was a bad ground but it still does the same thing. Any other suggestions?

  2. Is your truck a DD51 model?

    Yes, DD51T

  4. there is a black 4WD module under the dash, behind the steering wheel that you will need to find a replacement for. That is a common problem on the DD series of Suzukis and it's a total pain in the ass to reach

I have it out already, and you are right about being a pain to reach. Mine is not black but bare metal. Wondering if anyone has ever repaired one as I cannot find a replacement. It seems the two black relays on the circuit board are cycling rapidly

    UPDATE!
I removed the circuit board and doused it down with contact cleaner. Scuffed up the grounding point in the lower left hand corner and put it back together. It works! No clicking and engages as before. I will update again if it fails again.

So you were able to take it apart and clean the contacts and fixed it! Wow! Nice going!
