new here with cushman woes...

hi all. i recently picked up a 2004 cushman veryca flatbed truck. I need a drive shaft, a couple rear brake parts and a starter. I have been searching for a week now and i cannot seem to find much on parts. It seems like it is the only truck that does not come up on all the parts sites and even ebay worldwide. Any help would be appreciated.

 

am i posting in the right spot? nobody has any info

This was a great company until it was sold. Production stopped and product support ended.

I just bought a 2005 Cushman CMC. I can't find parts either. Did you have any luck?

 

I think you guys need to think outside the box. Many times I have had to fabricate parts for a vehicle that were meant to be installed on a different make all together. as for your starter. there are new starters out there. just need to find out who made them. Not likely it was the Cushman Co. drive shafts can be retrofitted

 

I'm not looking for a starter or a drive shaft.. I need plug wires at the moment. It's odd ball. Can't find anything to fit

 

is it just the wires ? or do you also need rotor ? remember Cushman was made using many suzuki parts

 

I just need wires now but it is some type of electronic ignition I guess. It has like a coil pack mounted on the truck frame and all the wires hook to that. It's not a distributor on the engine that the wires hook to. The longest wire is about 28". The plug end is standard. The other end is oddball. 2 Cushman dealers have emailed Taiwan but no luck so far. I'm wishing I'd never bought this China made Truck. The rack and pinion leaks also. Is there anywhere to buy new parts? So far I called about a dozen places. No luck. Anything you can tell me is appreciated
