New to the mini truck world. I just bought a 99 honda acty and the front right axle shaft is broke and missing. I was wondering if anybody knew of a cheap replacement or a interchangeable honda part off a car. Thanks in advance
I have the same axle broken, however my mini is a 1994. There is no way I can dish out the ludicrous price for one. I'm wondering if some small 80's vintage honda car has an identical one.
My Acty still wont run. So i'm not too worried about the axle at this time. I have no fuel (fuel pump not getting power) and from what I can tell I am getting no spark past the coil.
I am going to go to the parts store sometime soon I hope and am going to try and find a direct replacement, will let you know what I come up with.
Have you had a chance to go to the auto parts store? I stopped by a O'rilleys and you know how that goes with there great computer of info. what I would give to have a parts store that someone knew a little more then the questions that the computer asks.
Nope, haven't had a chance yet. I likely won't until after winter unfortunately. What did you ask them exactly? I think asking to see an axle for a small 80's vintage model Honda/Acura would be your best bet. Try civic, prelude, accord, Acura legend.
I do not know, but probably they will not fit, as competitor items. Send an inquiry to Yokohama motors, not all what they have, ist listed online. Make sure to mention the chassis number, then they can check in detail.
I'd say Yokohama motors website is your best bet. I'm also inquiring. But I'm wondering if an older rear TN 360 axle shaft will for my TN550 1983. Would anyone know?
Try to check the part numbers for both models Acty Truck EPC, y goes up to 1987 http://honda-europe.epc-data.com/acty_truck/ or try this http://www.epc-data.com/ also includes HA3 etc.
