    HI PATRICIA.
YOU MAY WANT TO PUSH THE BUTTON ON YOUR KEYBOARD LABELLED CAPS LOCK. IT WILL ALLOW YOU TO STOP YELLING.

Once complete you can start a new thread asking your question, you'll get more attention that way than in a post theguide spammed all over the forum for his damn facebook group.

The lady may not have known about this particular internet etiquette, that typing in all caps is yelling. And yes possibly the guide may have been a bit overboard with posting in each section when one posting in the general section would have been sufficient, but also mr mindless might just have gone on without the snarky remarks too. Please take it easy, this is and has been a good site, lets keep it that way.

Patricia Palmer, Maybe I can interject a bit of sanity to this thread. I can't directly help as I am not familiar with your vehicle but some searching all around this site and at www.suzuki-forums.com/forum-index.php as there have been quite a few threads about the vacuum lines with different carbs may do you some good.

Dave, Seems as if we are brothers in somewhat of the same boat. I am 77, also a Nam Vet 65-66 but I am one of the lucky ones who came home without a scratch and I now live in the Philippines. A suggestion - Can you change the font size on your computer to 16 or 18 or at least to a larger size? Should find some way to enlarge the print size in Control panel. This would enable you to see and type without offending some people, If you can't change it, just go on using all caps so you can do what you need to do, at least some of us will understand. I am also nearly computer illiterate so I don't know how to tell you how to search for what you need. I am sure that I have read a thread or 2 about the vacuum line maze on the carbed versions but all I can tell you is to go through each section thread by thread till you find what you need. Hopefully maybe someone who knows how to go about it will see & chime in. What I own is a later EFI model so I am not familiar with what you have. Go to www.megazip.net/zapchasti-dlya-avtomobilej/suzuki/carry-every-1873/dd51t-3395/kklg-4-65526/emission-control-4764 which is a megazip website parts diagram. As near as I can see, It looks like a 3-2 carb setup but you might go through some of their other parts lists until you find the one you need and see what the differences are as far as the vacuum lines go. Seems like a hard way to go about it, but I don't know any easier way, maybe somebody else does. Sorry I can't be of more help.

Sorry about the thread hijack but thats why we are here, to support each other. Please keep in mind we do not know the road other folks have traveled. Thank You.

    Hey Dave,
Thank you for your service. I didn't mean to be a jerk about the caps but I guess I was. Most browsers have a way of zooming in so you can read everything easier. If you're on Windows - and I think this is true for just about any browser you'd use - hold down the CTRL key and press the + key a few times to zoom in. Hold CTRL and press - to zoom out and make things smaller. On a Mac, do the same but press ⌘ instead of CTRL. Hope that can make things a bit easier on you. Good luck with the carb.

Thank You for that tip. Never knew that was available and could come in handy at times. There are times us old dogs need a bit of help.

Dave, Let's give this a shot. Go to www.suzuki-forums.com/suzuki-carry-every-forum/196777/carry-carb-vacuum-lines-pics.html and see all the pics of the carb & vacuum lines. It looks like what is shown is a 3/2 carb but if you will look closely at the lines coming of the 2 nipples, they come around a bit and Tee together then go on as 1 line to the restrictor or check valve(I am not sure what the little round plastic thing is) and then goes on to wherever it connects to. So I would guess(only guessing) that you could just run 1 vacuum line from the single nipple to the plastic part and then on to whatever the other end connects to. Try it and see what happens.

Yeah, it is hard to imagine it has been 50 years since ChuLai. I was in the USMC as a Combat Engineer in Expeditionary Force, last half of 65 thru first half of 66. Most of the time I was around ChuLai but did go on up to Danang once in a while. Mostly I try to put all that behind me.

Thanks for that. Now I have no clue what to do as the pics I referenced clearly show the 2 lines T ing together and the diagram you posted as showing those same 2 lines going to 2 separate places. Dave I don't know what to recommend as I would hate to post some bad info. All we can do is hope someone who is somewhat familiar will see this and join in. I will keep my eye open to see if I can find one around where I live that they might let me look at, but at this point about all I can do is offer moral support.

The chassis number is written on the blue plaque on the inside of the cab behind the drivers seat belt where it runs down along wall of the cab. Should say DD51T- XXX XXX.

You can take the "X" and either post them here or go to the Russian website which will allow you to type the model (DD51T) and chassis number the "xxx-xxx" into a form and hit submit. It will come back all Russian, just right click and run translate. You should be able to find your models diagram.

Dave, Yes I know how it is, a lot of us still have Troubles & Demons. Hang in there, join a group if there is one where you live,it does help.

Go to suzuki.epcdata..ru/carry/ which is the Russian site or to www.megazip.net/zapchasti-dlya-avtomobilej with the complete number for parts diagrams and numbers. As mentioned, there should be a data plate on the door frame and the number should also be stamped in somewhere under the seat or on the chassis itself.

WEA, What his main matter seems that he had a 3/2 carb and replaced it with a 3/1 so needs to know what to do with the extra vacuum connection. I am out of my element as mine is EFI and I don't know where to find the info he needs.

I would suggest going back with the 3/2 carb, why re-invent the wheel? Get the same part you had originally and go on down the road.
