OK anyone have experience with adapters for 4/100 to something more available sense will probably need wheel spacer anyway? Thanks COOLs DFW Texas
When I went to get my 91 Suzuki Carry I bought 1" spacers for 4x114.3 and they fit all the other trucks at the place but mine truck . I needed spacers to put it on my tow dolly . I had to put the rims on backwards which hit the calipers so I needed to really mess with 2 jacks and wheel the dolly under it . They were 4x100 the March of 1991 truck had 4x114.3 and my June of 1991 had the 4x100 . Upload a pic of the stock wheels and I can pretty much tell which are which . The 4x114.3 all had a center cap and the 4x100 didn't of all the trucks I looked at later on
The 4 x 100 pattern is the same as most Jap cars! I just tested a set of rims that came off my Swift! They are 14" X 6 American racing rims! And I also have a set of 14" snows that came off my Nissan 1 ton dually! And I believe I have a set of ATV tires and rims that came off my 05 Artic Cat 4wheeler! But the rims that came on my 91 Carry have 3 different bolt patterns on them?
for the record my april 1991 suzuki carry is 4x114.3 I know this because my old datsun wheels fit it perfectly. they are defiantly not 4x115. and 1991 metro wheels would also be 4x114.3
It has been claimed that a 23" tire will work without a lift, I haven't tried it. 185/60r14 is 22.75"... I did test fit a 185/75 14 and it was way too tall. I ordered a set of 165/55 14s for my truck because they were $150 for the set.
If you don't mind me asking, what tread pattern are they and where did you find a asset of 4 for $150?
http://www.ebay.com/itm/4-New-165-5...ash=item1a220207ba:g:zrcAAOSwEzxYVMYH&vxp=mtr ebay federal formoza fd1 seller carshoez... I will post pictures when I get them
If your looking for that style full snow mud tire , are you looking for any time of on street use? On street use gets real limited as your looking for an old school like an blys ply stud able snow tire . If your looking for strictly off road, not looking for a lift then the 14" rim ATV tires are 27" and taller so figment will be an issue 12" rim size opens you up to a much larger selection of tires that will fit much easier without a lift, a ton of tread patterns and will fit stock rims .
Yeah I have a set off of my Arctic Cat 4wheeler, but I am looking to put this on the road! So I may as well go ahead and figure on doing a 2" Body lift! I want to go ahead and make blocks and get longer bolts and raise the body off of the cross members, and then get an adjustable spacer for the strut tops and shackles for the rear leafs! But will that change the angle of the rear drive shaft enough to cause issues? Thanx for your help on this!
These are actually m+s tires. and just to show off.... One other note, the wheels that came on my truck were 12x4, three of them including the spare. for some reason the rears were 12x3.5
Nice ride by the way! Well I have lots of choices! I have 2 sets of 12" rims (steel) and a set of 13 & 14 steel rims! And a set of 13, 14 &15" allum rims! And 4 sets of ATV rims and tires! So Im wondering what I want to put on the road? How tall of a tire will this 660 of mine pull? 26"? 27"?( with a 2" lift)
KOFFER: THANKS so much for the pics!!! Got a 95 4 on 100 BUT (2) 92s headed for the ship ..I had no idea what the pattern was going to be on the 92s because it's such a crap shoot BUT, NOW, I've got the tires & wheels ordered AND THE TRUCK has not even been loaded yet...
No problem HR I’ve been playing with these trucks for awhile now with a importer who at any given time over 50 in stock here in the US . When he gets up to over 100 it starts to get cramped in his warehouse It’s gotten to the point I know all the sizes for the different manufacturers patterns . Only Suzuki mixed sizes at the same time .
I bought a single ITP steel 4x115 to test fit on my 1993 Carry (original wheels are 4X114.3) They would not work for several reasons: Lug hole was to small in diameter to fit over the lug studs, ITP wheel is made for a flat lug nut not conical, hub bore on wheel is way to large so no way to center the wheel. I returned the wheel for a full refund.
interestingly enough- mine was in the glove box- however, when i found the location of the jack and the handle- i put the tire iron in there too
