Thanks for the specs on the Carry.. My son has acquired one that needs some work.. this seems like a good starting pt. I am uncertain of the year and model ( a course in Japanese might be helpful to me ). Open to suggestions.. it seems to run ok but stalls at low( idle) speed.. so i plan to replace the simple stuff.( filters and plugs) I noticed in tour post Your MGB mod .. i have seen a very successful install of a land rover v8- good balance(aluminium block) and small footprint seems to fit well.. sorry i don't have the specifics.. but i may be worth a look.
