I'm trying to help a fellow mini trucker get info for his Autozam Scrum van with efi. He says it'a a '95 but I didn't think they went with efi until '99 or '00. The VIN # is DM51V702951, every search I've tried insists on a 17 digit VIN. I had similar problems with my Hi Jet when I bought it and it seems all these KEI vehicles are 11 digit. Does anyone know how to get info on these. I found, somewhere that it has a RO6A eng. and I need to know if this uses the same head as a F6A. Thanks Jim
Might try some different letters in the series A,B, D in place of the M. My Scrum is DG62V20------ I use DA62V20----- to find parts as a Suzuki(which it actually is). Fred
December 1994 build date. F6A, 5spd trans with 4x4. Thats as much as the JDM vin system has on it... IF it has a turbocharger, then it is EFI, but it should be carburated. It's basically a Suzuki Every

Well it's definitely a van with auto trans and a.c. and efi . The owner said it's a '95 which I find hard to believe but I've been wrong before. He said he was going down the freeway at about 50 mph and the ac stopped and the engine started heating so he stopped and checked the coolant overflow bottle which was bubbling. He had it towed to his mechanics place but he hasn't had a chance to do a pressure check or leak down yet. When he checked coolant after it had sat a while the water was milky which sounds like a head gasket but I've had a F6A that was a mess and it turned out to be a freeze plug between #2 & #3 cylinders on the inside of the head. Thanks for all the suggestions.
By US Model year standards it’s a 95 , built on 12/26/94 so it’s a late Christmas present but by Japan standards it’s a 12/94
Thanks,I wish I could read whatever language that is but from what I can guess at it sounds like the right rig. Can you tell by your info. what engine it has? I'll keep digging.
Thanks That's kind of what I was thinking.I finally woke up and realized that the DM51V is the series # just like a Suzuki DD51T or my old Scrum Dk51T and that cleared up a lot of confusion on my part. Getting old is Mother Natures way of letting us know that Father Time sucks. Appreciate all the help.
