Nisbett forest again. Fall was a blast.

Sunday may 24th. Meet at Flying J on the North end of Saskatoon at 7:30 AM again for breakfast.

    Departing around 9AM.

We will have another meet-up point in Duck Lake (Mallards Gas) or Macdowell for folks coming from other directions.

Fun times for all. Not limited to Mini Trucks. Come out with your ATV or other vehicle for offroad madness. (However, many of the trails we go down are barely wide enough for the trucks so your Unimog may not fit)

We will likely head up on the 10th as well to scope out some new areas and possibly set up some sort of events. (hill climb, time trials, who knows what we figure)

We are going to try and get some sponsors for some goodies for the day. Kimpex, ITP, etc.

MiniBrutes will be donating a minimum of a $10 gift certificate for everyone that registers and shows up. (No charge for registering, just gathering information on who is going to come.)

Please send your name, phone number, email address, mailing address and vehicle you will be bringing to: dwayne@minibrutes.com

Other dealers are welcome however you may not qualify for free goodies ;)

Thats great Ruzz. Make sure to send dwayne@minibrutes.com an email so he can plan accordingly.

What is up with your truck? Anything you need a hand with?

Yeah, this is the best way to show those non-believers what mini trucks are made of! Last year out there we had several spectators watching with open jaws. Lol

Also, we will be shooting another video at the same time so our videographer from Calgary will be down again.

    Good times!

Well when i got it it was fine, i changed the oil, air filter and plugs every 2500k. Half way through the winter i went to start it and my timing belt broke(what luck). Replaced that and the water pump and had vavles adjusted. drove fine like it did before, then started to burn a BIT of oil. Then had choke problems, i got that sorted out and on my way home, im pretty sure the timing belt broke again, and it sounds like the valves met mr piston a few times. Checked the oil and NONE, at all you could hear the oil pump running dry. I had just topped up my oil, and the drive to yorkton and back and around the city was 150K maximum. Where is the oil going i do not know. Ro real visual leaks, other than a little spillage around the oil filter from changing ect. I honestly dont have the money to fix it right now so its just sitting while i do other "mods". I may take it into yorkton at alcan, where i got it. They have a good mechanic but they want waaaaaay too much for parts, and labours 50 an hour(worth paying IMHO though). Everybody around town kinda thinks my trucks a pile of ****, due to the problems ive had. I just wanna get this thing running like i know it can and show them what it can do.

    Oh POO. That really sucks.

$50/hr is a bargain in this Saskatchewan economy. We are $80 and most other mechs in town are $90-$120!

Best of luck getting that straightened out. If there is anything we can do to help, let us know. (We have worked with Alcan in the past)

We may have some spare trucks though with no drivers. If thats the case we will be inviting others to come drive some of our trucks for us. So even if your truck is shot, there still might be a way to ride!

That would be awesome, i would love to try some other makes of trucks off road. I would really like to put my truck to the test in some muddier conditions, i only really ever drove it in the winter. If the engine is pooched beyond reason a 1.9 vw turbo diesel is getting dropped in :). We have done some measurements and it would fit, although it would only be 2wd :(.
