Hey guys and gals. Im from Dallas texas area and lookin for Left hand Drive Mini turcks. Im awalys going to the VA Hospital and they all use left hand drive mini trucks. Some are just setting there rotting because no one drives them but since its a gouverment properity its not easy for a non Gov worker to get my hands on one. Does anyone have any links for me to visit that sells left hand drive mini trucks. Thanks
i've seen a bunch on craigslist, but that's a crap shoot of who is selling what, when and where. it took me about a month to find what i wanted. i kept my eye on craigslist and the classifieds on this site.
Yea once I get my jeep stuff paid off I plan on getting one. I was up in hands on getting a Polaris since I own a fourwheer once. But I want a small truck to use at the lake. My parents want a golf cart but I told them they need a mini truck.. So ya. Thats why I was lookin for a left hand truck.
Next Gen Left Hand Drive minitruck dajeepman, i found a link that might be of interest to you. http://i.b5z.net/i/ui/180996/f/MAG_Brochure_8x11.pdf i'm not saying that you should go and buy one of these - that's not the reason i posted the link. but the interesting thing is that this company Mag Int. was awarded a 7 million dollar contract (Feb 08) to supply these trucks to about 60 military bases. knowing how the military works - these bases will be getting rid of whatever minitrucks they currently have to update to a standard brand. it's a logistical thing. meaning you should be seeing a lot of various mini's coming up on military/gov't auctions or being offered by some of the minitruck dealers. anyway a side note on these Mag trucks. i think they are a rebadge of the White/Cushman trucks that the military has been involved with in the past. if they are the engine is probably an upgraded mitsubishi 4g82. also these trucks are suspiciously like the CMC (Chinese Motor Corp). i've got one of the cushman vans. it looks pretty similar. also the bases that are being supplied according to the news release are Air Force and National guard. http://i.b5z.net/i/ui/180996/f/PR_021908.pdf with you living in the Great state of Texas you have several AF bases you could check. i will try and find the links to the DRMO and gov't liquidation auctions and post........later, slim.
are there LHD conversion parts available anywhere? It can't be a very difficult conversion if the parts can be had.
Yea, in the Philippines. Thats where some of the left hand drive trucks come from. They convert them and send them here. Workmanship is very poor and I would stay away from them. Someone once posted if the Philippines cuold convert with American stanards they would be worth getting but until that happens nicks, notta, no, pass.
This is also interesting about CMC, making many Mitsubishi vehicles. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/China_Motor_Corporation
I have 1 lefty----not pretty but it is for sale. Conley And Son Farms, Greensburg, KY 270-405-3614 Also, I am told that they are cheap enough in the Phlilipines but the issue is shipping to from Japan there and then here---loading twice is expensive.
I travel to Taiwan a lot and see the CMC trucks all the time. Funny thing there is probably 90% of ALL trucks are blue. Rarely white like the Japanese Kei trucks. When I've asked a Taiwanese associate why they are always blue, they just say "people like blue". Ask a stupid question....
sorry, C&S. That was aimed at dajeepman who started the thread looking for lefty's. Tiger trucks are a left hand drive option to consider, and they have representation in the dallas area. tigertruck.com

yes it will be Great quality, I will make new Dash Board and steering rack for LHD use, so there will be no any problem for the quality, and the exteded cabin Like Jumbo and reclining seat with stainless steel bull bars with 2/3 " lift up will make these trucks great look, yes price will be low as I can keep, Also it is not costlly to ship to Subic Bay, just around us$2500 for 7 trucks or 1 40" container, thanks
LHD mini truck Hello Dajeepman, I am the only exporter converting to LHD japanese Mini truck, if you looking for container Load then you can contact at any time, regards http://www.japanese4x4minitruck.com
flatlanders in regina has a couple left. the LHD were not a big seller. people wanted them for the unique RHD up here i guess.
RHD or LHD You are right Stuff99, I really Love to sell RHD as I don't have to do very hard Job and expend more money on shipping and less profit, but I have no choice to work on my Buyer demand,
Lol. Ambition... its the main ingredient. Being stubborn helps a lot too. Rhd insurance was gonna cost me $2300+/yr for bare bones, no collision, low mileage. Its on the road now, 530$/yr.
I think, that's pretty neat! I get the ambition, even some head scratchin, and the laboour, part. What was the most difficult part of the project? I guess, I never thought about even doing that or if it could even be done!Is that a right hand drive steering wheel? Did you use the same one? What else did you have to change? It sounds like you were able to re use many of the existing parts, with the amount of money spent! When did you do it? How long did it take you? I would imagine, you had to extend the wiring to the dash. I'm assuming you were able to use the existing, gauges, or did you find a left hand drive dash, with the cluster? I actually thought about replacing my front end, axle, and hubs, when I was having trouble finding front wheel cylinders! Limestone
