Hello everyone My 1994 Honda Street Racoon came with power steering from factory and I am wondering if anyone else has power steering on their van to compare to. It definitely makes driving at high speeds touchy so I have considered installing a toggle switch for the system as it is an electric system.

Hi Hap, just bought our first Kei Van ever. It’s a 1994 HH3 and it does not have power steering. If it does have power stealing the pump could be offline or failed. It is a bear to drive slow speed without it for sure.

Don't know about Honda, but my 2002 Suzuki CarryVan has a speedo connection which lessens the sensitivity as the vehicle speed goes up. You might check if that function is working. I am under the impression that they all used the same basic unit. Referring to Electric PS.
