      Hey Tony, I read a post you replied to about wheel size. I am going to receive my 1998 suzuki carry soon and would like to swap to some 13" or bigger tires. Can I just directly swap? because the dealers and other mini truck websites seem to say the 99+ trucks are the ones that can fit bigger tires, the older models need a lift. Also, how do you find them? does it make a big difference with top end speed for example?

        Fantastic, thanks for the info. We'll keep in touch for sure. I'm just going to be using mine for booting around town. Still getting mixed info on how well these things go on the highway. Not hoping to go far, but maybe short boots 4-5 exits. Some websites say "highway speeds no problem" .. other people say once you get bigger tires its fine... and others say it won't do it. How is your experience?

        Highway speeds approaching the Rockies is impossible . I only use my truck on the ranch and my gravel roads but I know for sure that 50hp is not going to get you anywhere quick

        Ok I found some 175/70R13 rims and tires on kijiji. They are off a civic that was built for fuel economy, the rims are aluminum and weight 9 lbs each! Wonder if there is any issue with this? I hope not because these may even weight less than stock! Which would be fantastic. What do you think?

        good score on the alloy wheels and Tires. You won't have any problems what so ever with that tire size. In fact it is the recommended size for your truck. You will need them for safety because Japanese tires are a no go. One other thing, it's not the actual weight of the tire but the circumference that causes the drag.
