I am new to the minitruck business, but we have had a large request for camo minitrucks. I was thinking about painting them, but decided to go with these guys www.camo4u.com . They offered me great pricing right off the bat and the material has been great to work with. Just wanted to thank you guys on this forum for the recommendation. It worked out real well.

    Camo stuff

Did they create a package to cover your trucks, or did you just order it by the sheet. Could you send me or post a picture of a before and after.

I am very interested in doing something like this.

    thanks

Just 4x5 sheets - It took 4 to do the whole truck. I will see if I can dig up some pictures.

  7. I think you're SOL on that one buddy, we have access to lots'a different camo designs and I've never seen a blue one. I do think that would look pretty sweet though.

How many 4x5 sheets of camo clad does it take to do a 1997 Suzuki Carry?
It seems 4 sheets are the most that are in a "kit", but somewhere on here I think I saw that it takes 5.

for those that are interested in ordering camoclad. the "kits" that are advertised here and for sale on ebay is nothing more than 4 sheets of the 4'x5' material. people are charging $275-$300 for this "kit". with a little searching on the net i found and ordered from a camoclad dealer for $50 per sheet. sure seems like a big markup on the price for a "kit" thats not really anything more than if you bought individual sheets.

if anyone is interested in a vendor that sells reasonably priced camoclad let me know i will tell you where i got mine.as far as the question goes on how many sheets it takes.....i have a 91zuki and i used 5 sheets and the reason it took 5 was i did a whole lot more detail work than a lot of the trucks i have seen pictures of .......if i werent so anal and a perfectionist i would have only needed 4.

sorry about being so long winded guys but these so called "kits" seem like a rip-off to me.....

  13. That's a pretty good price, not sure how they are offering that for genuine camoclad. Our price on non permanent camoclad 4x5 sheets is MORE than 50 a sheet and we're an authorized dealer

its the real stuff. by the way that price was for the removable camoclad and it is drop shipped from the camoclad company.

  17. What's the name of this site? If that's true I might as well buy from them instead of camoclad direct.

  20. That's pretty cheap, camoclad must have their sellers on a tier'd system because 50.00 a sheet is a bit less than we pay as an authorized dealer.

hey zbadboy. if i wanted this info put on the forum dont you think i would have done it myself instead of letting you post it like you put all the research into finding the best deal. thanks alot for the plagerism man! now go see if you can pm someone else and post their info like its you own!

  22. If you didn't want the forum to know...why even bring it up?

If anyone wouldn't want it posted it would be the other dealers that sell the camoclad. :) This forum is an awesome data bank for ALL owners of these mini's looking for info and places along with prices.

I think he just saved you a lot of time by not getting all the pm's from everyone asking where. That is what I was about to do too. :)

If you know what you are doing everyone says 4 - if you are a rookie on installing they say to get 5

I spoke with the owner at www.camo4u.com and they said if anyone calls to order some material and mentions this chat forum they will sell the sheets at $50 plus free shipping. I told them about the discussion here and they said they are willing to work with us.

  26. I use camowraps and they offer 32 patterns which is way more than camoclad. They have a lot of brand new patterns such as featherflauge and Gods country to name a few. As far as the price, we sell it for $70.00 a sheet for the removable.

I use the 3m Camoclad. It can be very time consuming. Here is how we do it for the guys who dont need every inch covered. Takes less time and materials (obviously). This is for the guy that doesnt actually need camo, but thinks its cool looking! And yes-- I am lazy!

that price from macks waterfowl's was a typo, I called them yesterday, it's 60.00 a sheet. Hopefully minimuscle (aka camo4u) didn't meet the 50.00 price to many times LOL
