BUYER BEWARE: I have heard of alot of people being scammed by this company including myself. e-mail me if you need details. Besides they are not a site sponsor, after all they are the ones that make this forum possible.

I have done business with Keith one time on parts I needed for a customer's Honda. I had no issues, they had the parts in stock and shipped them to me quickly.

Remember there are always 2 sides to every story.

Keith and Cory, you might consider becoming a sponsor of this site if you are going to advertise here....nothing in life is free.

Thanks for the suggestion ABC. That was my point exactly! Lets see if we can get some of the money he stole from me to go to a good cause.:D

After my post on this thread, I read some of your many other posts on this subject. If the facts are he sold you something that was not what he said it was, then he should take it back for a full refund. However, I have been in that situation many times and with the internet now allowing so many people to sell from long distances, these things happen. I have found it is usually better to put the items back up for sale and sell them to someone that needs them and move on. Beating a dead horse never solved anything.

Point taken. We have it already in the works to become a site sponsor. We will probably be a sponsor 2 times for trucks and parts. All we have to do is get out banner ready to go. I fully agree that we should support the site.

There is definatly two sides to a story, and this is no exception. The whole deal goes back to wether or not a 4/4" wheel will work very well on a 1999 Daihatsu, they do work very well. I have tried to make the situation right with him but he has declined.

We have definatly not scamed anyone. If there is someone that has been scammed let me know. If at all posible I will make it right with them.

OK. Cross Roads gave me two choices.

    1. Spend $80 to send the wheels back and get a refund of the cost of the wheels and tires, which also means I lose the an additional $80 in shipping that I already paid. $160 gone.

    2. Spend $80 to send the wheels back and spend some unquoted amount to have them machined so they don't interfere with the caliper and still have to live with the fact that they are not what I wanted to begin with. $80+ gone.

    Choice # 3
Advertise them on this board or sell them on ebay and cut your losses, no one is going to refund your shipping.

Thats a great idea ABC. The problem is that no one wants a 4/4 wheel. I just fell for the 'ol bait and switch. Better luck next time I guess.

Give it a try, I had someone call me just the other day looking for that wheel...I told them to look on this board. Just becarful what you say about people here, you could tarnish your reputation and scare off a potential buyer.

Someone wants them. I sell them by the pallet load. Anyway I will keep them in stock for those that want them to work great on their truck.

Ok we have the problem solved. We have two types of wheel on order that are an actual 4/100mm hole pattern. They will both be here in the first part of February. We will test them and ship them out!

You know what? This is ridiculous? I have had several people PM me stating that I'm on your side and you should just let it go because my reputation on this site will be ruined if I keep on going around telling everyone that xroads ripped me off. Then MAGICALLY the "all powerful" X-Roads admits there is a problem and everything is OK. Give me a break! I guess I'm putting my reputation and my $$ on the line to protect the rest of you and all I get is some behind the scenes "We agree but aren't willing to do anything about it" People.... TAKE A STAND AND FIGHT FOR WHAT IS RIGHT!! To give Corys team some credit. I didn't just go out and pick the first person to hit me up for a sale. I did extensive research and chose x-roads because I heard they had the best prices and the best service and stood behind their products and they were willing to do whatever it takes to do to make you happy. The website stated a GUARANTEE. This meant to me that I was protected no matter what went wrong. That people.... is what makes a company better than any other company! Sadly though, I have to say that this wasn't my experience. What good does a GUARANTEE do if there is no one to stand behind it. I am not trying to get rich off the fact that Cross Roads had a Guarantee. Believe me when I say I would have been the first person to Glorify him and his team for providing outstanding customer service if I had received it especially after what had happened. All I did was politely ask "What are you willing to do to make this right?". I made no demands, nor did I ask for my money back. All I wanted was some answer that didn't cost me more $$$ (After all that's what a guarantee is) and all I recieved was a "Prove it doesn't work" and "What exactly is your problem?" and "I do not apoligize" Cory, I still have the email conversation. It doesn't look too good for you. For the sake of my reputation I will say it. "I'm sorry Cory I did not want it to come to this" P.S. I'm still willing to glorify you Cory. Kiss Kiss

    God Bless,

    Greg

I may have miss-typed. There is no problem with the 4/4” wheels on a 4/100 wheels. We have put them on many trucks and I put them on my own personal trucks. I can have nearly anything I want on my personal trucks and I use these very wheels. What I meant by problem is that those that would like an actual 4/100 will be able to have that if they like. But I have to state again that there is no problem with the 4/4” wheels on the mini trucks.
I would also like anyone that believes they have been scammed or knows anyone that believes they have been scammed to contact myself. If at all possible I will make the situation right. I don’t want anyone to think they where scammed by Crossroads, and I would never scam anyone.

I have proposed what I believe is a more than reasonable solution to Greg in his private email.
