Anyone know of a North American radiator that is a relativley easy swap over for a rad? I was thinking possibly a chevy sprint or pontiac firefly sorta thing...

Not really into waiting months to get a new rad outa asia!

    Help! haha

Why don't you just get your rad fixed?? Find a reputable rad shop and they can rebuild it for you.

    ya eh

It's at a rad shop right now, they are unsure if its worth the money to repair in its current state. Might be better off fabbing something similar to fit or ordering a replacement from asia.

    pooched as some would say...

So turns out my rad is not worth fixing, too much rust and plugged solid! They quoted me 450 CDN to make a new one for me....

Anyone know of any cross over rads that would fit nice from one of the other trucks?

Also would coolant capacity make a big difference? Not sure what the capacity is of the s83p rad compared to a geo metro or suzuki swift ect

$450.00 is a good deal if they make it out of aluminum.

I still have my S210P radiator. It fits under the seat. Not sure if its the same as the s83 rad.

    update

Chevrolet Sprint radiator has virtually same dimensions, same in/out hose diameters and a very simple fab to mount fan to unit and unit to truck!

Ill try and post pics as I go, but 450 for rebuild or 130.00 CDN taxes in on aluminum sprint rad? I think so!
