I've seen similar on Badgerland's site but it's not quite the same... and I dunno why but this just does it for me...

I still plan on adding the tubing to my bumper. Very similar to how this pic shows. I like it!

The thing i like best about that build is the added shocks up front! Great idea. Considering OEM struts are like 250.00 ea. It circumvents the need to replace the struts!

Yeah, I saw that too.. I wonder how that effects handling though?

not sure but that has to have a nice ride with all that weight and extra cushioning now

It might stiffen the hell out of the ride though... and make it bouncy?

I think the supergrip diamond backs are 6 ply

I have the GBC Grim Reapers that are 8 ply.

when you add a bumper like that you have to beef up the shocks (or struts) to handle the extra weight. with the jeeps, it's not uncommon to have to add a spacer to the coils to handle the xtra weight of the bumpers. i know when i built the tire carrier for mine i had to add a 1" spacer to level the rig up.

and how does it handle after that?

Yep, Glad I won't be doing any of that. They are great in the woods though with all of my nasty Locust trees.:D
