    Thanks again.

JA (I suspect) was created by the US occupying forces to buy all agricultural produce (intervention buying) and advance credit against future harvest. I'll check with the memsahib. The US Military did a great job post-war.

The sprinklers spray groundwater. That system is being replaced by closed loop heating. The sprinklers dump water in the drains, and the aquifers draw down. With the closed loop system, the groundwater is re-injected. Most conveniently, the re-injection well is less than 100m from our bore :)

I have lots more stuff: snow clearing, construction in earthquake areas etc. Plus some seasonal landscapes. I'm happy to keep posting if you're happy to keep reading.

If you like skiing grass, rocks and ice, don't come here ;)

Average 10-20cm fresh snow per day (night)

It took me three seasons to get No2 son going. That was a lot of patience.

Yes I noticed they are gone as well??? If you want to see some beautiful ground level shots in Japan you can use google earth as well..Japan has a ton of areas that have been fully street level photographed..neat to see all the vehicles we don't get going about the daily grind
