Not much in the way of feedback here Steven! Maybe you should offer free hot dogs. I'll be there BTW. Still working on new stuff.
I'd love to go and I'm flying up to Detroit that weekend but unfortunately I have a family reunion that I want to attend as well up in Rogers City. -Greg
Well I am still working on my Transmission, and I have that weekend off. I am crossing my fingers to be able to make it out there. Not sure about the camo wrap job your doing, but if you need a truck to work on I would gladly volunteer mine, I would pay for the materials of course. I hope to see everyone there. I just hope to be up and running in time to make it there.
i would love to come.. this economy is killing me.. first i had to sell my mini truck and now they quit giving us paid vacations and paid holidays... no way i can afford a week off work without pay
????? Wow that sucks Milt!!! I wonder if the bankers and insurance dudes that made this mess are missing any of their vacation? I'm guessing that they still get theirs. After all they need some time off to spend their gov't supplied bonuses:frustration:. For everyone's sake lets hope that this economic BS ends soon. Jim
I was planning to come over from Illinois. But, now I have to be in Burnet, Texas for that weekend... Maybe another time....
I hope Steven, myself or someone will take pictures...you guys are going to miss out on all the new stuff!
That's some pretty cool gear on the truck. Wish I could go. In Japan they are taking the H1N1 very seriously and since the foreign introduction of the virus came from Detroit (from students on a holiday in Ontario), I know it would cause problems for my wife's work. One of her colleagues had to spend 10 days away from the school (not a bad thing?) because she returned from Hawaii--that's it, just returned, no flu symptoms. So, I won't be able to go. I know Steven will be putting on a great event.
Wow...if you came all the way from Japan to this rally it would be amazing. I can understand about the flu...I was in Cancun the week the week the flu started with my wife and two young boys. We are back and not sick! I was kind of kidding around about pictures, I will be armed with digital still and motion pictures. I will also have Super8 analog video also.
Thank you again Steven for all your hospitality! It was a great way to connect beyond phone calls, emails or this forum.
Well it was a small gathering and there was a lot of discussion about growing the mini truck market. Only a couple of us brought trucks to show. This is a picture of Steven (standing), Lin, Bruce and Chuck from Allied. Like at home I'm taking the picture so I'm not in it. [/IMG]
