While taking one of my trucks for the OOP I stumbled upon another Subaru in an alley.Low and behold it was another member of this forum.
Where abouts in Canada are you from, and what do you drive?
This might make any hookups easier.
I live in Airdrie,Alberta and between me and a buddy have 4 Sambars(2 SC)of which 3 are kinda for sale.

Boys, Just went and looked at a new 2008 Tonka Truck(China made). It is a nice looking truck alright. Had 17 miles. Had nice factory wheels, interior had plenty of room, bed was a little longer, had ac, drove nice, really seemed like a good truck until I stopped and took a close look. One thing the ac didnt work, 4 wheel drive button on dash would not kick in the front diff.. Reason being, it didnt have a front diff. They removed it and blanked the trasfercase off. The importer said they are having problems with the front drive system and they told the retail customer as soon as the bugs are worked out they will send it to him. Basic copy cat of Japanese Kei truck. Price tag 9500.00/10500.00. Hmmmm. Not with a 10 ft. pole. No,notta, aint happening, pass. I'll take a $5000.00, 40k mile Jap truck any day.

Has anyone in Canada put a Black Line snow plow on their Carry?

I'm Canadian (born in Toronto and lived in almost every part of Canada), but living in Japan. I drive different trucks, but right now I'm driving a 2WD Jumbo. I guess being in the business lets me switch around, and I definately have my preferences.

There are at least two in the Creston B.C. area, a Honda and mine, a '91 Hijet. I'm pretty sure there is a third on running around here also.

My buddy has a DD51T Carry in Okotoks, uses it as a work and acreage truck. I have a DB51T Carry extreme south end of Calgary. Use mine to haul tools and supplies around. Grounded for a couple of weeks. Water pump went.

Yeah. Knew the pump was going, but thought I could limp it until the parts came in. That's OK. Changed all the fluids, set valves, and am working on adapting a Sprint block heater. They are external mount (bolt to outside of block), so it won't be a big deal. If it works great on a Sprint, my Carry should be a veritable oasis come -30.

Congrats on your new truck! You'll have a blast with it. When I brought mine home and parked it next to my Geo Metro sedan, it was smaller!

I'm now up in Flin Flon, my acty will follow in spring. I've noticed 3 other kei trucks up here as well as a town ace pickup. the acty will double as my commuter and wood hauler.

In NW Ontario - Fort Frances - Have some on the lot and have another shipment coming soon. This shipment will have two dump bodies and some five speeds - and for a driver, I have a six speed Suzuki in the bodyshop for fresh paint. We register and safety them to make them road legal in Canada. There are quite a bunch of them around our area now.
