Anybody ever found a source for grab handles or visors? I found grab handles on eBay, but shipping from Japan is crazy.

They do show up on eBay occasionally. Change the location to world wide. The Hijet was sold under a few different names in the EU, Porter, Rascal, and a few others. This search string, set for worldwide, brings up a few. (Hijet, Porter) (Piaggio, Daihatsu) grab handle The problem of looking for the visor, is generally they are in japan, and spendy. Plus they are usually for the newer models. But, looking at the mounts, they will probably work.
