Hey folks. new here, from Arizona. Ive been toying around with the idea the last few years of getting a mini van from Japan. I lived there for a few years and drove a hi jet and loved it.

I found one that I particularly like but just not sure of the price and wanted to run it buy you guys.

its a super clean Suburu sambar dias. RWD , Manual, EN07A with 105,000 Km

he said they where going to ask around $6199. I would need to get it shipped from east coast to AZ and they quoted me $1040

super clean, looks good - does this price sound about right for this vehicle?

honestly, I was wanting a 4wd but keeping it simple is prob better.

That price sounds about right to me if all the work has been done already DMV wise and you can just go get it changed into your name with no hassle.

I paid $5500(Canadian) for my Sambar truck but it was on kijiji and not from a dealership or anything. I think yours is a fair price including shipping and everything assuming it all works, however I would say you shouldn't settle for one that doesn't have the features you want.

You can get better for less, unless your highest priority is a flawless exterior. I paid $5k in total to import mine and it has AWD, supercharger, sunroofs, and less than 80k km. But it does need some body work. I had to shop for it for several months but when the perfect fit popped up I was able to snag it.

Who did you buy from....I am planning on going to Europe this summer with my 2 kids and buy a Subaru Libero while I am there...But in the mean time...I guess the next best thing for my needs is a super charged Subaru Sambar I need 4x4 and 6 speed I imagine...and I need big sunroof...........im probably do more highway usage than most people....I am a single parent with 2 kids 8 and 12 ...and got to be able to do the occasional 6 hour round trips a couple times a month .....

so im just searching for people who have had good buying experiences...and asking for referrals...Thank you...

    Royal Trading.

Keep in mind that it doesn't have rear seat belts. Not sure I'd want to be driving around with kids in back.

Yep, I'm in the process of doing the same. The rear platform needs additional hardware to hold it down (I've bought some over-center clamps, De-sta-co style) and then the actual seat belts are probably fairly straightforward to install.
