Shipping Mini Truck via Freight

I have a mini truck at Hill AFB. I need to get it to VA. Has anyone shipped via Freight on pallets? I am getting crazy quotes. It is cheaper to ship one from Japan across the ocean then it is to move one across the country.
Please recommend options or if you can help please let me know.

Worst case, if someone around the Hill AFB Utah area wants a cheap 4x4 Hijet Jumbo please call or PM. I really don't want to sell it but this may be my only choice.

    Thanks,

This was moved to VA over a 1 year ago. Thanks for the support

I had mine shipped from Colorado to Idaho with U-Ship. Lucked out and there was a guy hauling six dirt bikes from Denver to Spokane. He emailed, and I told him it has a 4.5X6-ft bed, and he could put one or two of the motorcycles in the bed.

He showed up with one bike in the back of the Hijet. We offloaded my Hijet, and then backed it up to the side of his trailer, and used my scissors lift to level up the beds, and rolled the bike onto his trailer.

He charged me $400. Which was a little less than it would have cost in fuel for a buddy and I to drive down with a trailer and pick it up..

If you can’t get a decent freight quote, get back with me. I’m about six hours out of Ogden, and might be interested.

I really appreciate the offer for help and will reach out if nothing pans out. I have been chasing the minitruck dream since 2013. This is the first one that I can likely fit in.

    Thanks

Merry Christmas if anyone wants a 4x4 Jumbo Diahatsu Hi Jet in or around Hill Air Force Base Utah. Please reach out to me. I have a little less then $1000 into it and I am only trying to break even if I can't get it shipped.

    Thanks

If you can get it on a palletized crate, I bet Fastenal will ship it via their 3PL Logistics..

The cheap other option is... They do fit in the back of a pickup bed. Road trip?

Uship or similar. They fit/ safe to carry with a 2500 pickup with 8' bed

cross country freight shipping for that size/weight is usually $700-$800 unless you can get a really good deal with Uship....

ive had a couple shipped from TX & AZ to Ohio .... it was always in that range. if its only worth $1K? just sell it locally & get you another one after you relocate.

Can't find anything cheaper than $1100 on shipping. This may be my best option at this point. On the east coast the truck should be worth $4000-$5000 minium. I thought someone here would have wanted it, but the site doesn't seem as active as it once was.

    Thanks
