Hello everyone, I just got a replacement carb for my 1990 Suzuki carry. The old carb had 3 ports on one side of the set screw and two on the other, the new one has 3 on each side are there any diagrams that show where the vacuum lines connect to? There is also a plastic tee that comes in the box. Scratching my head on this one. Thanks
I'd be interested in responses here too. I tried to replace mine over the weekend on a 1996 scrum. Mine had 3 on left and 2 on right with 2 wiring harnesses. replacement only has one on the right with one wire connection with wrong connection type
I too would like to know about the replacement carbs. Mine came with all 5 vacuum port holes but some are plugged. Can I remove the plugs and if so how do i do it? Then I assume i have to remove my old vacuum tubing from the existing carb and re-install it in the replacement carb?
I meant to say I assume I have to remove the vacuum TUBES from the old carb to re-install on the replacement. I'm talking about the brass colored tubes inserted into the carb top at the intake.
