Anyone in Colorado have experience or knowledge of registering in the state? I know Colorado has no law about kei cars. Has anyone done this before?

I know that the best bet is to call my DMV and ask, and I will in the morning.

    Thanks.

Both of those ars permanently closed. I got some great info from a guy in Denver that said ElPaso county is friendly to registering. Vans more so than trucks.

I'm currently dealing with the state department of revenue- motor vehicle division to try and get the green light.

I currently reside in Colorado too and would greatly appreciate it if you update how it went getting it registered since I plan to bring my own truck in.

    Thank you!

I gave up on this. I wasn't able to get the information from a vehicle that the Depart of Revenue wanted because the Van I wanted, sold.

Im sure it could be done I just decided to go a different direction.

And I was wrong, there is a dealer in Paonia however he was less than helpful and I could not recommend reaching out.

I'm currently working with my state rep. Don Valdez. He's anxious to be involved, as he'd like to have a process to license them here as well. Brian Strom owns a mini truck business in Fruita, and Mark at Mark's power sports in Alamosa also want to see this happen, as I understand. I'm hoping soon we'll develop an approach to introduce legislation on the state level. Meanwhile, as I understand any county has the ability to legally allow them on county roads, like any other atv, or SUV, if they decide to.
