Now that my Carry is road legal the AM radio was not cutting it . The Fire and Brimstone ,crazy political talk, and non English stations with that fine AM hiss and buzz just sucked . hitting the on/off knob with my knee all the time didn't help ether . I just wanted something easy to install and low cost . I found a Pyle brand mech less AM/FM with a USB/3.5/SD card slot and built in speakers and a aux out on the back . For under $25 to my door it's just fine For a cab that's the size of a file cabinet it will do for now . While working on in the dash I also added a 12v power plug/lighter port . The wires were already there right behind dash just needed to drill the hole and plug it in .
This looks good. What model is the radio and where did you get it? Did the bracket around it come with it?
It's a Pyle model PLR36M it came with the trim ring and the din mounting bracket . Here's the manufacturers link to the info ,but can be found cheaper at the normal online shopping areas https://www.pyleusa.com/in-dash-ste...b-aux-3-5mm-input-am-fm-radio-single-din.html It's shows what you get . Like I said your not going to win any audio awards with it but it's better then nothing
well its ok, its tinny and does what i want it to . as for 80km i can hear it good with stock tires on paved roads but cant be 100% on gravel roads and more meaty tire .
