So I went to look at the mini Sambar I will be buying in two weeks. It is left hand drive and is 4X4 dump body that has 800 miles on it.

From what I can tell without searching the VIN it looks like a fourth Gen 82-89 with the ek23 motor in it. But

I'm no expert so here are the pics for you guys to view. He also has a white 2wd that needs some work that I might also get.

He said he had them imported in the late 80's and has not really used them much. They say MPH on the speedo not KMH.

I know the fourth gen have two different front ends depending on the year that I can tell, are these early to mid 80's?

Follow the seat belt down to where it bolts to truck. Should have a white tag with a date on it. If you can read the date it should be within a year of the build date. Most of the time the drivers side seat belt tag is worn but the passenger side is not.

Thanks so much! When I go pick the mini up I will have to check that out.
